Keep an eye out for Mike - He'll mow you down, haole!

Tolt-McDonald Hill

This used to be my backyard trail of choice until I moved. You can ride for days without seeing anybody out here - it surprises me how few people know of this gem so close to Seattle. If you know the secret squirrel route, you can get to the meat of the trails without having to pay sweat it up Tolt McDonald Hill. You'll have to find that out for yourselves though. Oh yeah - whoever has been labeling the trails with white dungeons and dragons names, go back to your moms basement!

Trail Description:
This trail sports some fun, fast singletrack with manageable hills. The trail starts directly across the Tolt river from the parking area and immediately heads up the hill into the woods. After 1 mile of fairly difficult and steep singletrack, the trail levels off. Once at the top, there are lots of winding trails and abandoned jeep roads to explore. There is a great 6 mile loop at the top and several other trails as well.

How to get there:
From Seattle, drive East on I-90 to exit #22 and turn left towards Fall City. From Fall City, drive North on Hwy 203. Immediately after entering Carnation look for the entrance to Tolt-McDonnald Park on the left, across from the high school. Follow the park's road to the parking lot at the end.
